Inflator Drift 2016
In the plunge pool of a former sauna the artist floats on the water. He is dressed in a black diving suit with gloves and normal rubber boots. He also wears an ice diver full face mask.
In order to convey a feeling of vastness and horizon, the pool was painted over.
A specially made 30-meter long air supply hose led from the breathing valve in the artist's mouth to the oxygen bottle that was in the exhibition room.
The audience first meets the oxygen bottle. Following the air hose one reaches the artist, who floats in the water as long as the air supply lasts.

Im Tauchbecken einer ehemaligen Sauna treibt der Künstler auf dem Wasser. Er ist bekleidet mit einem schwarzen Taucheranzug mit Handschuhen und normalen Gummistiefeln. Auch trägt er eine Eistaucher-Vollgesichtsmaske.
Um ein Gefühl von Weite und Horizont zu vermitteln, wurde das Becken überstrichen.
Ein speziell gefertigter 30-Meter langer Luftzufuhrschlauch führte vom Atemventil im Mund des Künstlers bis zur Sauerstoffflasche, die im Ausstellungsraum lag.
Das Publikum trifft erst auf die Sauerstoffflasche. Dem Luftschlauch folgend gelangt man zu dem Künstler, der solange im Wasser treibt, wie der Luftvorrat reicht.
