Sitting on Top of the World 1994
Two knee-deep holes were dug next to each other on a slightly undulating, larger meadow. A video, recorded in real time and about 2 minutes long, shows the artist walking from the street across the meadow to the holes in the ground, stopping just before them, then putting his legs in and sitting down on the ground.
Thus the entire globe becomes the seat of the artist.

Auf einer leicht gewellten, größeren Wiese wurden nebeneinander zwei knietiefe Löcher ausgehoben. Ein in Echtzeit aufgenommenes, ca. 2 Minuten langes Video zeigt, wie der Künstler von der Straße über die Wiese zu den Erdlöchern geht, kurz davor stehenbleibt, dann seine Beine hineinstellt und sich auf den Boden setzt.
So wird die gesamte Weltkugel zum Sitz des Künstler.
